What you'll accomplish
By the end of this guide, you'll have Jump set up to automatically join your client video meetings, generate structured notes and action items, and sync them to your CRM — eliminating 20-45 minutes of manual note-writing after every meeting. For an advisor with 3-4 meetings per day, this frees 1-2 hours daily.
What you'll need
Go to jump.ai and click Start Free Trial. Enter your email and create a password. You'll be asked for basic info about your practice (size, CRM used). Complete the onboarding questionnaire — this helps Jump understand your typical meeting types.
What you should see: A Jump dashboard with a "Schedule your first meeting" prompt and your calendar connection waiting.
Troubleshooting: If you don't receive the confirmation email, check spam. Jump uses your email domain to configure the account.
Click Connect Calendar (or find it under Settings → Integrations). Select Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar. Authorize access. Jump will immediately pull in your upcoming meetings. You'll see your calendar populated with upcoming meetings.
What you should see: Your next 2 weeks of meetings visible in Jump's calendar view.
Go to Settings → Integrations → CRM. Select your CRM (Wealthbox, Redtail, or Salesforce). Click Connect and complete the authorization. Set sync preferences: enable "Auto-sync notes to client record" and "Create tasks from action items."
What you should see: A green "Connected" indicator next to your CRM name.
Troubleshooting: If your CRM doesn't appear in the list, check Jump's current integration page — the list updates. Wealthbox and Redtail are both well-supported.
Go to Settings → Meeting Templates. Jump allows you to create meeting types with custom note-taking priorities. Create templates for: Annual Review, Discovery Meeting, Planning Update, and Check-In Call. For Annual Review, add focus areas: "portfolio performance, life events since last meeting, goal progress, action items." This helps Jump prioritize what to capture.
What you should see: A list of your saved meeting templates.
Find an upcoming client meeting in Jump's calendar view. Click on it. Click Add Jump. Jump will now automatically join this meeting as a silent participant. The meeting invite will be updated with Jump's bot joining info (no action needed from your client — the bot is silent and invisible to them, though Zoom does show "AI note-taking is active").
What you should see: The meeting in Jump's calendar now shows "Jump Added" with a checkmark.
Troubleshooting: If the meeting is a phone call or in-person, Jump can't join automatically. Use Jump's mobile app to record your own verbal summary immediately after and upload it.
Conduct your meeting exactly as normal. Jump joins silently, listens, and transcribes. You don't need to do anything differently.
Within 3-5 minutes of the meeting ending, check your email for "Meeting Summary — [Client Name]." The summary includes:
Open your CRM and navigate to the client record. You'll find a note already populated with the meeting summary.
What you should see: A structured note in your CRM under the client record, with action items populated as tasks.
